I am a wave
in love with the sea.

I am the ocean.
Oh! That wave’s waving at me!

I am a wave,
moving and free.

I am the ocean.
Oh, the depth of me.

I am a wave,
cresting with foam and with spray.

I am the ocean.
life teeming in me, what an array!

I am a wave,
even dissolving, how can I cease to be?

I am the ocean,
reforming as waves that are in love with me.
